Day 1 : HANOI CAPITAL
Welcome at Noi Bai airport, transfer to the hotel. A free evening. Ha Noi retains the air of French colonial period despite wide scale rebuilding after the war. O/N in Ha Noi.
Day 2 : HANOI
Begin your exploration of the Capital with the City center, including traditional pagodas and temples, colonials villas, lakes set along tree-lined streets. Visit the Mausoleum of President Hochiminh and His former residence, One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th century and Temple of literature recognized as the oldest university in Vietnam. Army museum. Enjoy a water puppet show. O/N in Ha Noi.
Day 3 : HANOI - HUE
Fly to Hue. Transfer to Hue City, one of the most beautiful cities in Vietnam. Visit the Royal Citadel and recall the battle of Hue during the Tet offensive, when the revolutionary forces held the city for three weeks. O/N in Hue.
Day 4 : HUE - DONGHA
Drive up highway 1 passing Camp Evans and Fire support Base Nancy, continue to the battle site of Quang Tri. Next pass the site of Ai Tu combat base and airfield of the 3rd Division Headquarters of the former Southern army. Next, reach Dong Ha enter the quadrilateral area bordered by Con Tien, Gio Linh, Dong Ha and Cam Lo, which was nicknamed Leatherneck Square during the Operation Buffalo. Continue up Highway and South Vietnam. Visit the tunnels in Vinh Moc and the Con Tien Fire Support Base before staying overnight at Dong Ha. O/N in Dong Ha
Day 5 : DONGHA - KHE SANH
Drive along route 9 to Khe Sanh. En route pass a series of Fire Support Bases, the Rockpile, Dakrong Bridge as well as the Huong Hoa district headquarters. O/N in Dong Ha.
Day 6 : DONG HA - KHE SANH - A LUOI - HUE
Tour Khe Sanh base, a coffee plantation, an old French fortress and the Montagnard village. Continue on route 9 to Lang Vei special Forces Camp. Visit Lao Bao border town. With advance notice, a border crossing to Laos is possible to follow Military Operation Lamson 719. Travel to A Luoi and visit the special Force camp there. Visit Landing Zone Cunningham, Landing Zone Erskine and Landing Zone Razor. Upon special advance request, continue south to A Shau and the infamous Hamburger Hill. Return to Hue in evening. O/N in Hue.
Day 7 : HUE
Visit to the ancient tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Kings. A cruise on the Perfume river. Afternoon Free for leisure in pleasant Hue. O/N in Hue.
Day 8 : HUE - DANANG
Leave Hue for Da Nang. Tour the city, recalling the chaos of March 1975, when the Saigon government abandoned Da Nang and countless refugee fled the city. Also visit the beach where the US Marines first came ashore, beginning major American involvement in Indochina. O/N in Da Nang.
Day 9 : DANANG - HOIAN - QUYNHON
Morning visit to Hoi An. During the 17th century trader stopped at this port when travelling en route to Malacca in Malaysia. Continue on the coastal plain to Chu Lai via Chu Lai airbase and see the work of the Sabees. Stop at My Son district, scene of infamous My Lai incident. Travel along the rugged Animate Mountains down the route 1, sarcastically referred to as ''the Street without Joy'' by French soldiers. This evening arrive Quy Nhon, a major port and supply depot that kept Route 1 open during the war. O/N in Quy Nhon.
Day 10 : QUYNHON - NHATRANG
Leave Quy Nhon for Nha Trang, once the headquarter of the US Fifth Special Force Group in the second Corps. O/N in Nha Trang City.
Day 11 : NHATRANG
Enjoy the turquoise water and fine sand beach. Take a boat to nearby Bamboo Island for snorkeling, to the Mieu Island for a visit to a fish breeding farm and to the Cham Tower of Po Nagar. Then, leave Nha Trang for the central highland city of Da Lat. O/N in Nha Trang City.
Day 12 : DALAT - HOCHIMINH CITY
Visit Tuyen Lam Pagoda, King Bao Dai's Summer Palace Drive to Hochiminh City. Visit a tea house on the way. Arrive Hochiminh City, hotel check in and relax. Dinner at enjoy a music & dance show on boat, riding on Saigon river. O/N in Hochiminh City.
Day 13 : HOCHIMINH CITY
Enjoying the sights of graceful women in Ao Dai's, visit the busy riverfront, the former Presidential Palace, passing the former US Embassy now rebuilt, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. In afternoon, visit the site where a Buddhist monk immolated himself in protect of the war and the church where Diem was assassinated. O/N in Hochiminh City.
Day 14 : HOCHIMINH CITY - CUCHI
This morning travel on the National route 13 pass the town of Phu Cuong. Visit Phu Loi Base use to relocate villager. Through the Cau Dinh jungle, pass a staging area of the 503rd Airbone Brigade. At Ben Cat, see the site of the bases of the 173rd Airbone and the 11th Armored Cavalry. Arrive Ben Suc, the Northern tip of the Iron Triangle, and continue to Dau Tieng Reservoir and esoteric Cao Dai temple at Tay Ninh. Visit the restored tunnels at Cu Chi before returning to Saigon. O/N in Hochiminh City.
Day 15 : HOCHIMINH CITY
Enjoy a free day in Saigon O/N in Hochiminh City.
Day 16 : HOCHINH CITY - TAN SON NHAT AIRPORT
Transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure..
