This is a mountainous province located at 300m above sea level, 272km north of Hanoi, endowed with many beautiful landscapes. The locals there live on forestry & farming and construct step rice fields.
SIGHTSEEING SPOTS: Ban Gioc Falls is the largest and the most beautiful waterfall in the country.
Thang Hen Lake is situated on the top of the mountain at an elevation of 1,000m above the sea level. It is lozenge in shape, 300m in width and 100m in length.
Pac Bo Cave is located in a valley about 55km north of Cao Bang. This used to be a revolutionary base when President Ho Chi Minh had chosen this site as his living and working place after living abroad for 30 years. This is a spectacular landscape with its beautiful surroundings like Lenin Stream, Karl Marx Peak, etc.
